What type of computer do I need in order to use Aikido3D?
Aikido3D supports Windows and Mac computers. For Windows, any computer purchased in the past 10 years (Intel or AMD) with at least 1GB RAM, 500MB of free HD space, XVGA monitor resolution. For Mac, any "Intel", OSX running Mac purchased in the past 10 years. -
How can I determine if my PC can properly run Aikido3D?
First, check your system specifications according to the minimum requirements. Then, if you are still not sure, email a quick description of your system to support@aikido3d.com and we will be able to tell you right away. Again, If you bought your computer in the past 10 years, 99% chance you are all set. -
The screen is too big for my display, the menu is cutting off
Use the Settings button on the bottom left of the Aikido3D screen to access the Settings Panel. Then in the Video Tab, select the maximum resolution supported by your computer and click OK. If you are unable to follow this process, please fill the support form on the left and we will find a way to help you get it showing properly. -
The animation looks a bit choppy. Can I fix it?
Most likely you can. First, From the Settings Panel, Video Tab, try both OpenGL and DirectX settings. (You may have to restart the program for this to take effect). Second, access the Settings panel and under the Video Tab, make sure to select "None" for both Shadows and Anti Aliasing. If this solution was not sufficient, From the Video Tab, try switching to "Classic" view. Another thing to try is quit all other applications for maximum performance. If the problem persists, contact support@aikido3d.com for a customized solution. -
Aikido3D is running well, but I cannot hear the commentary.
Make sure the commentary ("Voice") check-box is checked to turn voice-over on. Then, make sure your computer speakers are on and volume is set at least half way up. -
I am having difficulties controlling the camera with the mouse.
Use the Settings button to access the Settings Panel. From the Controls Tab you can set the mouse sensitivity to match it to your liking. You can also control the camera using the arrow keys on your keyboard. -
The camera won’t Rotate or Zoom at all.
Make sure you are NOT in “Nage” Camera mode. In this mode the camera is locked to "Nage's" view hence it cannot be controlled. First switch to either Front or Top cameras to change the active view. Then use either your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to freely Zoom or Rotate the camera. -
I purchased Aikido3D and I am having trouble registering it.
The activation process is now completely automatic but you do need an internet connection to complete it. You will only have to do this once so you DO NOT need to be online after you complete the activation. Run Aikido3D. The Activation window will show first. Follow the on-screen instructions. Your Serial number can be found in your Aikido3D order confirmation email. If you mistakenly delete it, email us or use the form on this page and we will locate it for you. If you are unable to complete the activation, please email us whatever error message you get when you attempt to activate. -
I successfully registered my copy, but it won’t run on my new PC.
The Aikido3D activation is machine specific. If you get a new PC or need to activate on another computer, you may require a new code. Please email support@aikido3d.com with your name and serial number and we will assist you further.
